Wrong way driver faces several felony charges

Five young people were lost Sunday, January 22. They were returning from a week long visit to a Bible college in Jackson Hole. The five victims were from Pulaski County, Arkansas.

At 6:52 p.m. Wyoming Highway Patrol (WHP) received a report that a Dodge Ram 3500 was driving east in the westbound lane of Interstate 80– just east of Rawlins. A few minutes later, WHP was notified the wrong-way driver had been in a collision with other vehicles.

The driver, Arthur Nelson of Utah, collided with a semi and a passenger car. A second semi tried to avoid Nelson's vehicle by swerving into the media...
