The Escobedo's lost their home of 25 years and nearly all their belongings in the fire.
While most of us were having a cup of coffee, scrolling Facebook or reading the paper the morning of December 28 the Escobedo home was destroyed by a blaze that started in the rear of the trailer from an undetermined cause.
The owners, Manuel and Maria Escobedo were not home, having left weeks before for to winter at their home in Mexico.
The Escobedo's are well known in the area and almost immediately the community was reaching out to the family to help. Faby Pinedo, the couple's niece, set up a Go Fund Me fundraiser on Facebook and also has a special account for them at RNB State Bank in...
