Come, eat, visit, and enjoy a complimentary meal and fellowship as everyone is invited to “Gather at the Table” Monday, Jan. 2, 2023, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Saratoga Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall on the corner of 3rd & Bridge Streets.
The sponsoring committee urges everyone—especially the hungry, lonely, depressed and tired of winter—to just show up with friends and family as there is no charge, no reservations, no preaching and no restrictions, Just food, fun and fellowship.
Featured will be a menu of meat and vegetable kabobs, vegetable fried rice, bread and butter, dessert and beverage.
“Gather at the Table” is a non-profit charity extension of the First Presbyterian Church of Saratoga. Its mission is to provide a welcoming meal to anyone, especially the hungry and lonely, who desire fellowship in and around this community.
Meals will be prepared and served buffet style by volunteers in order to provide families and individuals a free hot meal once a month in order to “fulfill a physical and spiritual hunger by reflecting the teachings of Jesus Christ with love and openness through serving others,” according to a press release from the “Gather at the Table” committee.
