12/15/1943 to 12/7/2017

It's hard to believe it has been five years since Gay passed away. The 21½ years we were married has filled my heart with pleasant memories that will last me the rest of my life.

I want to thank everyone who called me at the time to tell me how much she loved me, all the wonderful things she had said about me, and how much everyone thought I had contributed to her last years of happiness.

And I know how much she loved the people of Saratoga and how much they loved her.
