Two Churches provide Thanksgiving Meal

Two Medicine Bow churches are joining forces on Sunday, November 20 to co-host a community Thanksgiving feast for the entire community. The two churches, Chapel on the Plains and Wind City Church, want to express thanks for God’s bountiful blessings by coming together to share this meal.

From 11:30 am to 1:00 pm there will be a free Thanksgiving Dinner with turkey, ham and all the fixings at the Medicine Bow Community Center. Community members are bringing side dishes with the two churches providing the main courses. J&J Second Chance Small Holdings from Rock River will provide baby goats for entertainment and the Rev. Mary Fabin from St. Barnabas’ Episcopal Church in Saratoga will provide musical entertainment during the meal.

Participants are welcome to attend a Thanksgiving church service at Chapel on the Plains (220 Pine) at 10am and/or Wind City Church (Hwy 487) at 1:00pm.

All within driving distance of Medicine Bow are invited to attend!

For more information, contact the Rev. Bobbe Fitzhugh from Chapel on the Plains at 307-359-3311 or Pastor Justin Stockton from Wind City Church at 501-514-4919.
