HEM fought hard in every set but came up short in the end
The Lady Miners started out well in all three sets in their game against Wyoming Indian on Friday, but in the end, they could not pull off a win.
On Friday, the Hanna, Elk Mountain, Medicine Bow (HEM) High School volleyball team hosted the Wyoming Indian High School Lady Chiefs and lost all three sets. The Lady Miners were in contention in all three games until they hit double digits. Then the Lady Chiefs surged ahead, leaving HEM to score a few points, but not enough to threaten Wyoming Indian as they would go on to win.
The first set, the Miners were down 1 to 6 and then rallied to tie at 7 to 7 to the home crowd's delight. The Lady Miners kept it up until both were tied at 11. Then the Lady Chiefs had a spurt getting them to 20....
