Grand Encampment Cowboy Gathering to honor late Chuck Larsen this year

Crowd favorite and renowned cowboy poet Chuck Larsen will be honored with a special tribute during the 20th annual Grand Encampment Cowboy Gathering Friday, Saturday and Sunday, July 15-17, at Grand View Park in Encampment.
Chuck, one of the founders of the event, passed away earlier this year. He was the Gathering's first emcee and featured poet in 2002 and prior to his death was scheduled to emcee and entertain again at the upcoming 20th annual celebration.
