Date is set for 35th Annual Sierra Madre Winter Carnival in Encampment
Despite a warm start to winter, there appears to be enough snow in Encampment for the winter carnival.
The town of Encampment will be hosting the 35th Annual Sierra Madre Winter Carnival (ASMWC). Save the date January 28 and 29 for family winter fun. With Multiple events, races and three different cook-offs there is sure to be something for everyone.
Starting the event filled weekend with a pancake breakfast held by the local VFW, and the food doesn't stop there. There are three cook-off competitions to enter with multiple categories in each.
