While there have been a number of annual events that have been cancelled or postponed due to ongoing health orders, one event that will still take place is the Annual Saratoga Ice Fishing Derby as it enters its 38th consecutive year.

Started in 1983 by then Saratoga/Platte Valley Chamber of Commerce CEO Chuck Box, the Saratoga Ice Fishing Derby was one of the first of its kind in Wyoming.
