Hanna students, community visited by Rachel’s Challenge
On Oct. 15, Larry Scott came to Hanna to speak of Rachel’s Challenge to Hanna Elementary students in the morning, Hanna, Elk Mountain, Medicine Bow (HEM) High School students in the afternoon and a community forum later in the evening held at HEM.
Scott is an uncle to Rachel Joy Scott, the first victim in the Columbine High School shootings of students and teachers by fellow students Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold on April 20, 1999.
Rachel was 17.
Scott has different presentations of Rachel’s Challenge for each age group.
For the elementary students, he talks about being kind to others....
