Miners keep prequalifying

HEM track and field prequalifies multiple athletes for State at Bobcat Invitational, head to Sheridan for Eastern Regionals

The Hanna, Elk Mountain and Medicine Bow (HEM) Miners ran up to Thermopolis over the weekend to compete in the Bobcat Invitational. While there, HEM prequalified multiple athletes for the State Track and Field Championship as well as placing in several events. Overall, it was a very good weekend for the Miners.

Beginning with field events, Taylar Scott finished in 4th place in the triple jump with a distance of 32'.6". This distance prequalifies her for state. Also placing in field events was Amy Campbell, who placed 8th in the long jump with a distance of 14'6.8" and...
