HEM track takes six first place ribbons, breaks school record in girls 1600 sprint medley over weekend

The Hanna, Elk Mountain, Medicine Bow (HEM) High School field and track team shined at the Rawlins Invite on Friday and the Ted Schroeder Meet in Rock Springs on Saturday.

Taylar Scott placed 1st in the three events she participated at Rawlins. She also had a 1st place finish in Rock Springs.

“Taylar Scott continues to excel in her events every meet,” Head Track Coach Jackie Jones said. “She has a dedication to the sport of track and to become faster and stronger. Being a sophomore and an athlete from a 1A school are excuses this young lady never uses.”
