New easier-to-use countertop debuts at Saratoga Library

Going into a new year often means new changes and the Saratoga Branch Library will certainly have that going into 2019. Frequent visitors of the library will now be greeted by an updated circulation desk thanks to the Saratoga Friends of the Library (FOL).

Approved by the Saratoga FOL in February 2018, Custom Builders began working on updating the fixture in December. These updates included reducing the height of the desk overall, making it easier for the young patrons to see and talk with staff, new countertops, replacing the brownish-orange that topped the desk, and adding a display case...
