Panthers, Lady Panthers win first games at home against visiting Miners, Lady Miners

Both the Saratoga Lady Panthers and Saratoga Panthers saw victories for their first home game of the season as they hosted the Hanna, Elk Mountain and Medicine Bow (HEM) Lady Miners (37-32) and Miners (71-62) on the evening of Dec. 18 in the Panther Den. Both games started out as an uphill battle for Saratoga and were highlighted with visibly, and audibly, high emotion as fans on both sides either raucously celebrated or denounced calls from the officials as the Panthers went into overtime with the Miners.
