Lady Miners 4-1 in preseason

Hanna, Elk Mountain, Medicine Bow (HEM) High School girls basketball team met the Laramie High School Lady Plainsmen at 6 p.m. in Laramie on Friday. The game had been originally scheduled in Hanna, but then moved.

The game went well for the Lady Miners even though it was not held at home. HEM won 42-21.

“Our game against the Laramie Sophomores turned out to be a ninth and tenth grade contest as the Lady Miners were without our senior, Jessica Nelson,” Miner Head basketball coach Jackie Jones said.
