Meadows mayhem

On July 30, the Carbon County Sheriff’s Office received a call at approximately 12:30 p.m. The call, according to the press release received from the sheriff’s office, reported “shots being fired and rounds hitting multiple residences” located in the Cherokee Meadows subdivision east of Riverside along Highway 230.

Response to the reported shots included deputies from the Carbon County Sheriff’s Office, members of the Wyoming Highway Patrol and South Central Wyoming Emergency Medical Services. While on route to the location, it was reported that a woman had been struck in the knee...
