Sims takes 'crack' at new business

Established chiropractor to open new Saratoga office

Beginning May 7, residents of the Platte Valley will no longer be seeing Kendra Sims' smiling face at Albany County Chiropractic - Saratoga. After 10 years, Sims has decided to go into business for herself as Platte Valley Chiropractic, Inc. Though she is moving locations, she will still be providing the thorough and complete chiropractic care that so many residents have come to her for.

"This was the next logical step," said Sims.

While Sims had played with the idea of going into business for herself for a couple of years, it wasn't until within the past year that she decided to follow through. When a location became available at just the right price, Sims jumped at the chance.

While Sims may be leaving Albany County Chiropractic - Saratoga, those who have come to depend on Darren Bressler will still be able to see him every Wednesday as they have done in the past. Sims' current and future patients, however, will no longer head down Bridge Avenue. Instead, they will head over to Rochester Avenue if they wish to see Sims.

Just because she is branching out on her own for business, however, doesn't mean that Sims and Bressler will stop giving each other referrals.

"We will still give referrals back and forth like we have done in the past," Sims said.

Platte Valley Chiropractic, Inc. will be open on May 7 at 106 West Rochester Avenue in Saratoga.
