Sinclair donates AEDs

Resuscitation devices now at every CCSD2 school

Sinclair Wyoming Refining Company has recently donated four automated external defibrillators (AEDs) to complete installations at all Carbon County School District No. 2 (CCSD2) campuses.

An automated external defi brillator (AED) is a lightweight, portable device that delivers an electric shock through the chest to the heart.

The four AEDs have been placed at Saratoga Elementary, Hanna Elementary, Medicine Bow Elementary, and Elk Mountain Elementary.

CCSD2 Superintendent Dr. Jim Copeland had this to say about the gifts; “This donation provides access to AEDs at all seven of our campuses. We are so fortunate to have Sinclair as our partner for so many projects and for their generous support of our school District and our students. I’d like to publicly thank them for providing these AEDS and for all the other support they provide. I look forward to continuing our partnership with Sinclair.”
