Council hears economic update

The Saratoga Town Council met at 6 p.m. on Feb. 6 to take care of regular business and listen to Cindy Wallace, Carbon County Economic Development Council (CCEDC), executive director, give an update on current projects in the county.

She said the CCEDC has been working with several projects in the county.

“The big ones are the wind farm developments–especially around the Hanna and Medicine Bow area, and of course, the Chokecherry and Sierra Madre projects,” Wallace said. “It is amazing all the roads they have completed out by Chokecherry.”
