Scott Bokelman, representing the SMHS Tech/SkillsUSA Cancer Walk/Run, presents a check for $16,500 to Dulce Schalk of the Corbett Medical Foundation Thursday in front of the Hotel Wolf. The money was the proceeds from the Cancer Run/Walk held July 4 in Saratoga. In total, the event raised $20,500. $5,000 was donated to the the Wyoming Breast Cancer Initiative, and the remaining $16,500 balance will help fund the Corbett Foundation's TechKids Help Fund, a fund to aid Valley residents who must travel for cancer treatment.
