Halloween activities set

The Saratoga Care Center will be holding their annual Halloween Carnival complete with games, prizes a cake walk and more.

The event is set for 2-4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27 at 207 East Holly location in Saratoga.

Then on Tuesday, look for Witches, Goblins, Ghouls and a few Princesses to be walking the streets of Saratoga. For a safe and convenient way to trick-or-treat, parents, preschool and elementary-aged kids are invited to come to downtown Saratoga from 3:30 to 5 p.m. on Oct. 31. Many businesses will join in the fun by handing out treats. Look for the bright orange sign on the door or window of the participating businesses.

Businesses wishing to participate in the Halloween Walk were invited to call the Chamber of Commerce and their name was added to the list. Children in both Encampment and Saratoga elementary schools, as well as the area preschools, will be given the list of participating businesses.

Halloween night, children are encouraged to trick-or-treat in their neighborhoods, too. All ghosts and goblins should wear reflective clothing, carry a flashlight and be careful about crossing the streets.
