Bullfest is Buck!

Twenty-six bullriders competed in Saturday night's 2016 Saratoga Bullfest, with only one man riding in both the long and short rounds.

Zeke Mora, of Colorado, walked away from Buck Springs arena with over $12,000 of prize money and a trophy buckle after he was the only bullrider to ride his bulls during Saturday's event.

Mora rode a Weber bucking bull in the long round for a score of 77 points, and the only ride of the round. Mora rode Dirty Little Secret of Flying V Livestock in the short and final round, scoring 87 points and winning the event.

Ron Volmer, owner of Dirty Little Secret, bought the bull in Friday night's Calcutta for $125 and won over $1150 dollars with Mora's winning ride. The short round bulls were sold during the Calcutta, and there was an option to buy the winning ride on any of the 8 bulls or buy the no-bulls ridden option.
