Many busy Easter bunnies

Games provided fun and laughter throughout the week. On Sunday afternoon, seven residents played Dominoes with Pat Rust winning. Monday morning three residents played Yahtzee with Elaine Burge winning. Tuesday morning five residents played Uno with Dixie Shea winning. Wednesday afternoon, nine residents played Bingo, and Friday afternoon nine residents played Bingo. Pat Rust, Barbara Reed and Elaine Burge won Four Corners. Desiree Richmond, Carol Higby and Truth Karstoft won Blackouts. Volunteers at Bingo were Lila Worden, Dawna Erickson and Gloria Rakness. Wednesday Dauna Erickson called Bingo while staff had an in-service. On Thursday morning, four residents played Dominoes with Pat Rust winning. On Friday morning, five residents played Uno with Marjery McAulay winning. On Saturday afternoon, residents played Blackjack.

For exercise, residents did Wii Bowling on Sunday and Saturday mornings.

Residents enjoyed the no-commercial Turner Classic Movies channel in the evening.

For Lunch Out at the Saratoga Senior Center, three residents had ham on Friday.

Sunday afternoon Pastor Scott Stinson led church with Terry Hicks giving the sermon and Joe Gaspari doing hymn leading. Doris Davis played traditional religious music on the keyboard. Monday afternoon six residents went on a van ride to Three Way with Sue Morawski and got ice cream at Riverside Garage.

Tuesday afternoon five residents filled 400 plastic eggs with candy for the annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday.

Wednesday morning eight residents had their hair done, and 10 residents had their fingernails done by Kathy McMorrow, Sarah Irby and Janice Kerpan.

Thursday afternoon the Rebekkahs hosted the monthly birthday, celebrating the birthday of Kenny Hoagland with ice cream and cake.

Saturday afternoon we hosted our annual Easter Egg Hunt for kids in the community. It was followed by an ice cream social for both kids and residents.

We wish to thank all the anonymous donations for Bingo, including quarters and soda.
