Valley Easter Services

Maundy Thursday, a Holy Communion, can be celebrated at St. Barnabas’ Episcopal Church at 6 p.m., a Eucharist with the Stripping of the Altar. Platte Valley Lutheran Church will hold a Maundy Thursday service at 6 p.m., and First Presbyterian Church in Saratoga will hold one at 7 p.m. The Presbyterian Church of Encampment will host a Candlelight Community Last Supper Service at 6 p.m. on Thursday. Following their dinner, there will be a reading of scriptures on Jesus’ Last Supper and an informal communion.

Good Friday may be observed at 6 p.m. at the Platte Valley Lutheran Church, Saratoga Alliance Church at 12:15 p.m. and at St. Barnabas’ Church, noon.

Sunday Easter Services are as follows:

Foothills Baptist will host their Easter morning service at 10 a.m. at 510 Freeman Street in Encampment.

Ride on Faith will have their worship 10 a.m., seven miles south of Saratoga.

First Baptist Church will observe Easter services at 11 a.m. at 802 W. Main Ave., Saratoga.

St. Barnabas’ Episcopal Church will hold a festive Eucharist at 9 a.m., 106 W. Main Ave., Saratoga.

Platte Valley Lutheran Church will hold worship at 9 a.m. at 514 S. First Street, Saratoga. Following service, there will be a brunch and an Easter egg hunt, open to all.

Christian Community Church will hold a 7 a.m. sunrise service at Grandview Park, with a breakfast potluck following at 8:30 a.m. at the church. It is 3.5 miles north of Encampment on HWY 230.

First Presbyterian Church will celebrate Easter at their 9:30 a.m. worship service at 3rd Street and Bridge Ave., Saratoga.

The Platte Valley Christian Center hosts an Easter breakfast at 9 a.m., followed by Sunday School at 10 a.m. and Easter service at 11 a.m. All activities are located at 111 South 7th Street in Saratoga.

Saratoga Alliance Church holds their Easter Celebration at 10 a.m., with refreshments served 9:30 a.m., at the Platte Valley Community Center.

The Presbyterian Church of Encampment will host a traditional Easter worship and music service beginning at 10 a.m., 918 Rankin Street.
