Good dinner turnout

Saratoga Senior Center

There were only four people for Bridge Monday. High winner was Bob Johnson. Second high went to Gertrude Herold.

There were seven here for Bingo Tuesday. Two-dollar winners were Grace Johnston, Winnie Allen, Berneil McCord, Madaline Forbes and Lila Worden. Berneil McCord won the $5 blackout round.

They are looking for more Bridge players. They have been down to only four players the last couple of months. So if you play Bridge and would be interested in playing on Monday afternoon please call the center and come and play with us.

We had a pretty good turnout for our birthday dinner on Friday. Those having birthdays this month are J.R. Henslee, Grace Johnston, Joy Hamilton, Sue Howe, Jack Riddick, Truth Karstoft, Merle Starr, Donna Zeiger, Vera McCarger, Jody Moore and Carol Clemetson. Merle Starr won the birthday tree.

Teense Willford was here for our entertainment pleasure. Thank you for always being here, we do enjoy your music. I do want to thank the Rawlins National Bank for donating the cakes each month for our birthday dinner. And also want to thank Connie McGuire from the Flower Pot for the beautiful flowers she donates every month to the birthday people. It is so nice of both of you. And everyone really enjoys them.

We want to let Bonnie Rogers know we are thinking of her and wish her well. She has been moved from the hospital in Casper to a rehab center there. Hope she continues to improve and get to come home soon.

Also, we want to wish Jean Stolns a speedy recovery. She fell and broke her hip and is now over at the nursing home for rehab.

We also received information that Betty Stockwell fell and broke her hip and is also in a rehab center for therapy. We want to wish her a speedy recovery as well.

We want to send our sincere sympathy to the family of Bill Hytrek. Bill passed away at his home this past weekend. He will be missed by all who knew him.

It sounds like we will take the next two weekends to get our new floor put in. We will empty our dining room on Friday. So if you want to help please be here about 1 p.m., Friday.
