Tigers start 2016 with a 26-point win

Coming out of winter break, conditioning was a bit of a concern for the Encampment Tigers when they played the Laramie sophomores Jan. 5 in Laramie. The Tigers still pulled out an impressive win of 66-40 against the Laramie Plainsmen.

“(It was) a good game to come off the break and play,” Head Coach Clint Bromley said. “The boys played hard and have started to gel a little better on the court.

“The kids stepped up,” Bromley said, adding, he was happy with the performance during this time of year.

Wyatt Cox led the scoring with 17 points and had nine rebounds, four assists and two steals.

KeeGan Johnson had a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds, with two assists and one steal.

Gage Bartlett had 11 points, five rebounds, two assists and three steals. Jared Stewart had 10 points, seven rebounds and six assists.

The Tigers host Cokeville Friday night with junior varsity game time starting at 4 p.m. Saturday, the Encampment Tigers host Farson-Eden in the Tiger gym at noon.
