Katherine M. Beckham passed away on Oct. 30, 2015 at the Saratoga Care Center in Saratoga at the age of 77.
Katherine was born on Aug. 12, 1938, in Encampment. The daughter of Clifford and Irene Wombacker.
She married George D. Beckham on Nov. 19, 1955, in Encampment.
Her and George worked together for years building fences on ranches, and being caretakers at the Wyco Club and Cohns ranch on the river. She loved to read, play solitaire and other card games, and do jigsaw puzzles. And loved being a wife, mother and grandmother.
Once she became adjusted, and it became her home, she loved it at the nursing home, and loved everyone that works there.
Katherine is survived by her daughter, Vicky Jackson, of Encampment; her son, Ray (Sharon) Beckham, of Cheyenne, Wyo.; granddaughter, Sirena (Corey) Young, of Rock River, Wyo.; grandson, Brandon (Susan) Jackson, of Encampment; great grandchildren, Sean, Kyenna and Taylor. Tow brothers, Evertt (Jean) Wombaker, of Chugwater, Wyo., and John (Judy) Wombaker, of Prescott, Ariz; brother-in-law Jerald (Connie) Beckham, of Encampment and sister-in-law Janet (Tom) Sauter, of Cheyenne.
Katherine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband George Beckham and son-in-law Bob Jackson.
Cremation has taken place, and there will be services at a later date for family and friends.
