Residents travel to Aspen Alley

Games provide laughter and socialization during the week. On Sunday afternoon, four residents played Dominoes with Pat Rust winning. On Monday afternoon, four residents played Yahtzee with Elaine Burge winning. On Tuesday morning, three residents played Uno with Pat Rust winning. On Wednesday afternoon and Friday afternoons, residents played Bingo. Kenny Hoagland, Elaine Burge, Katherine Beckham, Nadine Caleb and Pat Rust won Four Corners. Elaine Burge, Katherine Beckham, Pat Rust and Kenny Hoagland won Blackouts. Our volunteers were Lila Worden, Dawna Erickson, Elder Bingham and Elder Coleman. On Saturday afternoon, residents played Blackjack.

Movies provided entertainment for residents throughout the week and the weekend. In the evening residents may watch the Turner Classic Movies channel, which has no commercials.

For Exercise during the week, residents did Wii Bowling on Sunday, Sittercise on Monday, Thursday, and Friday, and Wii Bowling on Saturday.

For Lunch Out at the Saratoga Senior Center, two residents had beef tacos on Monday, and two residents had beef stroganoff on Friday.

On Sunday afternoon, Pastor Arlen Hughes of the Abundant Life Fellowship led our church service. Doris Davis played traditional religious music on her keyboard.

On Tuesday afternoon, three residents went a Van Ride to Aspen Alley to see the beautiful fall foliage with Sue Morawski and Kathy McMorrow.

On Wednesday morning, nine residents had their hair done, and nine residents had their fingernails done by Georgia Schroer and Lynda Healey.

On Thursday afternoon, residents did an Arts and Crafts project with Kathy McMorrow.

On Saturday afternoon, residents enjoyed the Ice Cream Social.
