Lady Tigers rope Longhorns, bury Miners

Senior Lady Tiger Alyssa Barkhurst dives for the ball in the third set against Rock River. Unfortunately, the referee said the ball hit the floor first.

The Encampment Lady Tigers' Volleyball team (2-0, 10-1) won back to back matches Saturday, first playing the Rock River Longhorns (6-4), then at Hanna, with the only rest being on the bus. The Lady Tigers won against Rock River 25-11, 25-8, 25-20. Against Hanna-Elk Mountain-Medicine Bow (HEM) (8-4), the Tigers won in three sets 25-15, 25-8, 25-11.

Despite the double header, the Lady Tigers were calm, cool and collective during the matches against their opponents.

In Rock River, the Lady Tigers easily won the first two sets against Rock River.
