Rule violations on Game and Fish lands threatens access

The Laramie Game and Fish office has received several complaints from livestock grazers on the Red Rim-Grizzly Wildlife Habitat Management Area (WHMA) near Rawlins about gates being left open. Open gates have allowed cattle to wander onto pastures that have already been grazed, causing stress on riparian areas that are important wildlife habitat. Wandering cattle also create a labor issue for ranchers, who must spend countless hours herding the animals back into the proper pastures.
