It's library card sign up month

September is Library Card Sign-up Month at the Carbon County Library System.

The Carbon County Libraries, in conjunction with the American Library Association and public libraries nation wide encourages students to sign up for a free library card.

The library is an important tool for students, according to a Carbon County Library press release, as the library system in Carbon County offers materials, programs and services that support academic achievement.

The library system offers access to educational resources such as e-books, online homework help, online databases and more.

Stop in at any county library during regular business hours to get a new card or replace the old one.
