Eden Deorio, a former Valley Foods employee charged with stealing more than $30,000 from her employer, has pleaded No Contest to misdemeanor Theft. The state will re-file the charge, originally a felony, in Circuit Court. Because Deorio pled No Contest instead of going to trial, she will be charged with a lesser crime. The sentence includes 180 days of incarceration with a credit of 13 days served pre-sentence and fees, including restitution to Valley Foods.
