Pam was born on a dark and stormy night in Rawlins, Wyo. to Nestor and Dorothy Miller, of Saratoga. The Millers forgot the baby at the hospital when Dorothy was released and she did not meet her older siblings until 11 months later when her younger sister Dottie was born.
Pam grew up in Saratoga and the Snowy Range mountains of Wyoming and completed high school at Platte Valley High School.
