Performers bring own 'groupies'

There were two-and-a-half tables for Duplicate Bridge Monday. High winners were Mary Sjoden and Pat Bailey. Second high went to Nancy Facciani and Vivien Campbell.

We have the papers for the tax refund for the Elderly and Disabled, so you can come up and get the forms or come in and I will help you fill them out.

We had our birthday/anniversary dinner today. Those having birthdays this month are Betty Dean, Lila Worden, Teense Willford, Helen Wykle, Richard Rakness, June Spencer, Richard Hodges, Lyle Makinen, Gloria McVey, Pat Rust and Barb Youngberg. Those having anniversaries are Bob and Grace Johnston, Richard and Gloria Rakness, Gary and Judy Babel, Garland and Sue Bartlett, and Delman and Lucille Stanley. Helen Wykle won the birthday money.

Teense Willford and Ray Bernal were here for our entertainment, we all enjoyed them. He also brought with him his own groupies. He brought his daughter Stacy, and grandchildren Macey and Cody. Angie Cooley joined them. It was fun to have them all here as well.

Well, it is nice the rain stopped for a few days. I got our flowers for the planters out in front, and June got them all planted on Friday. So now it can rain again. Everything around town is so green and people’s flowers are looking very nice.

It was nice to have Dick Wiant here for lunch Friday. Also we had Kim Viner, who is Dick Wiant’s nephew.

Also on Friday, Janet Lasco’s daughter Sherry joined us. Good to see her again.
