The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6125 held elections in May. For the 2015-2016 year, Liz Wood is commander; Bob Kelley is senior vice commander; Bob Herring is adjutant; Willis Greenwood is quartermaster; H.R. Herring is Chaplain.
The VFW will lead the Woodchoppers parade Saturday, which is organized by the Encampment/Riverside Lions Club. Those interested in riding the float should meet the VFW in front of the Karl’s Auto Repair in Encampment at 8:30 a.m., Saturday.
