Three women were recognized as Women of Distinction by the Valley Service Organization (VSO) May 28 at their regular meeting at the Hotel Wolf.
Two graduating seniors were also recognized for their community service and received a Youth Citizenship award and $350 cash award.
Doris Davis, Lynda Healey and Peg McAlister were all recognized as Women of Distinction for their volunteer work in the Platte Valley.
Doris Davis plays piano at the churches around Saratoga. Currently she is playing at the First Baptist Church, but she recently played for the Saratoga Alliance Church.
