Rose Sharon Hughes

Rose Sharon Hughes, 73 of Saratoga, passed away Sunday in Casper.

She was born June 9, 1941 in Delaware County, Okla., to Herman and Nedra Brown. She married Marvin Hughes on Oct. 7, 1956 in Laramie Wyo.

Survivors include her husband, Marvin Hughes; three sons, Rick (Carol) Hughes, Arlen (Tiffany) Hughes and Todd Hughes (Lynda Padilla); four grandchildren, Abby (Richard) Raymer, Brian Hughes, Tyler Hughes and Brooke Hughes; great-granddaughter, Kelsea Raymer; all of Saratoga; two brothers, Ellis (Betty) Brown and Don (Sandy) Brown; one sister, Carol Petersen; brother-in-law, Dick Pipkin; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Nedra Brown; infant son, Randy; sister, Evelyn Pipkin; and brother-in-law, Con Petersen.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at the Carbon County Funeral Home in Rawlins. Services will take place Friday at 11 a.m. at Saratoga Cemetery Valley Chapel. Interment will follow in the Saratoga Cemetery. A reception will be held at Veterans Island immediately following the service.
