Riverside ready to go for Bio-Domes

Once Riverside gets the go-ahead from the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) the town’s Bio-Dome project is ready to hit the ground running so that it can get the domes installed into the bottom of its two wastewater lagoons. The Bio-Domes will help to grow the bacteria that breaks down wastewater is fed into the lagoons and keep the process going during the winter months when the bacteria would normally become dormant under the ice.
