Kay Fleming

Kay Fleming, of Riverside passed away April 26 at Ivinson Memorial Hospital in Laramie, Wyo.

She was born Aug. 29, 1944 to Katherine and Boyce Weakley in Sterling, Colo.

Kay attended the University of Colorado-Boulder and majored in archeology.

She married Phil Fleming Jan. 2, 1966 and lived in Winter Park, Colo., where she worked as the marketing department secretary for Winter Park Ski Resort.

In 1998, Kay started her own business and was the distributor for Mountain Man Nut and Fruit Co., for all of Grand County, Colo.

In 2006, she sold the business and moved to Riverside.

Kay's favorite things to do were fly fishing on French Creek and spending time at her family's cabin. She also enjoyed looking for arrowheads, making quilts, golfing and was an avid reader.

Kay was preceded in death by her daughter Stacy Ann Fleming.

Kay is survived by her husband Phil, of Riverside; her brothers Bob Weakley, of Fort Collins, Colo.; Bill Weakley, of Boulder, Colo., and sister Ann Engraff, of San Juan Capistrano, Calif.
