Saratoga has first track meet

The Saratoga High School Track team did not have any placers at their first meet in Casper Friday.

Coach Rex Hohnholt said he was missing two-thirds of his team because of spring break – some of the students had left Thursday for the European trip.

“Some bright things happened for us and we have a lot of things to look forward to,” Hohnholt said.

In the pole vault, Andrew Oiler had an 11-foot vault. Oiler also participated in the 400-meter dash and ran it in 59.52 seconds.

Hunter Mason participated in the 100-meter dash and 200-meter dash and had a 12.22 and 24.77 time respectively.
