Lady Tigers take third at regionals

When it mattered most, the Lady Tigers pulled out the win and that effort earned them a third place finish in the 1A West Conference Regionals.

At state, their first opponent will be one they are familiar with – Carbon County School District No. 2 (CCSD#2) Hanna-Elk Mountain-Medicine Bow (HEM), coached by Jackie Jones.

HEM earned second place at the 1A East Regionals in Laramie last weekend. The match will be a tough one as HEM has an overall record of 17-6 and the Lady Tigers have an overall record of 17-9.

Either way, a CCSD#2 team will come out on top Thursday.
