The Carbon County Speech Team returned from the Greybull Speech meet with the 1A/2A second place Sweepstakes trophy. The first place Sweepstakes trophy went to Thermopolis.
Jacob Dickinson placed third for his original oratory.
Team members who advanced to semi-finals were Jacob Dickinson, Maya Zieger in drama, Lydia Smith in oratory and Kat Hytrek in poetry.
The team travels to Worland Friday for their last regularly scheduled meet before state in Buffalo March 12-14.
