After a couple of difficult weeks, the Carbon County School District No. 2 Speech team brought home the 1A/2A Sweepstakes trophy from the Jackson Hole High School speech meet.
The team competed against 10 other schools.
Individual accomplishments included the duet team of Maya Zeiger and Lydia Smith earning a fifth place finish, Jacob Dickinson and Nick Smith grabbing third in duets .
Kat Hytrek brought home fifth place for poetry and Dickinson earned fifth if drama and oratory.
