Again and again the old appropriation comes to light in every legislature, for a State Fish Hatchery. This is an old story and we don’t believe the legislature this time will fall for it any quicker than in the past. The only branch hatchery that was ever worth a cent in this state was the Saratoga Station, and it was eventually lost. Now that we are to have the big government hatchery in this state, we will be able to make up for the dilatory action of the state in making up for fish planting.
