Lady Tigers snakebit after taming Wildcats

The Encampment Lady Tigers (6-4) started their weekend with a win against the Walden, Colo. Lady Wildcats (4-2). The Lady Tigers took Walden 51-25 in a game where Encampment held a 23-3 lead at the end of the first quarter.

Coach Amy Clay said the team shot 69 percent from the field in the first quarter and played strong defense.

"We've been working on our press and it helped us get some early turnovers," Clay said.
