PMPC changes hands

Engineering Associates (EA) announced Thursday that it recently acquired PMPC-Civil Engineers in Saratoga. This seven-person firm provides municipal engineering services to a number of towns in south-central Wyoming. PMPC also does civil engineering for private clients in Sweetwater, Carbon, and Albany counties.

Six of the current PMPC employees have become shareholders of Engineering Associates, the new parent company of PMPC. CEO Heath Overfield believes that their participation in ownership should send a strong message to existing and potential PMPC clients. The Saratoga staff is dedicated to see PMPC continue to operate much as it has in the past, offering innovative engineering solutions and exceptional customer service.

Being a part of EA will allow PMPC to offer a wider range of services in the region, including land surveying, structural design and inspection, and wastewater treatment. Staff from EA’s other offices in Cody, Powell, and Thermopolis will be assigned to the Saratoga office periodically to provide these additional services on an as-needed basis. EA will also provide additional administrative and engineering staff support from the corporate office in Cody, Wyo.

Engineering Associates has operated in the Cody area since 1970.
