Panthers struggle at Fremont Tourney

It took a couple of games at the Fremont Tournament last week for the Saratoga Panthers (2-5) to shake the holiday break, losing two games in a row. By the last game of the tournament, the team was playing the way they wanted to and had a solid win against Fort Washaskie 55-13.

“The [winter] break hurt us,” Panther head coach Joe Johnston said. The team had 32 turnovers against the Wyoming Indian Chiefs (8-3). “You can’t have a turnover when playing against the Wyoming Indians,” Johnston said.
