One point separated the Carbon County School District No. 2 (CCSD#2) Speech team from bringing home the 1A/2A Sweepsteak trophy, according to head coach Brenda Ostendorf.
The team did bring home the second place trophy from the Cheyenne East High School Holiday Classic.
More than 950 students from 36 schools competed in the Holiday Classic, which include four states – California, Colorado, South Dakota and Wyoming.
