Cold temperatures and heavy snowfall that typically take place during winter in Wyoming mountain areas not only leads to a change in activities for Wyomingites, but for wildlife as well.

As winter progresses, more and more big game animals move out of the locations where they spend much of the year and into lower lying areas to spend the cold weather months.
