Make it with Wool competition has changes


This year’s Make-It-With-Wool Contest begins with registration at 9 a.m., on Nov. 2 at the Jeffrey Center in Rawlins.

Contestants from all over Carbon County are eligible to enter the contest with garments or quilts made of 100 percent wool.

The sewing or construction is judged the morning of the contest following, which includes a style show at 2 p.m. The public is invited to attend the style show, a press release said.

The Make-It-With-Wool contest is a part of the Wool Grower’s Auxiliary and is supported by local donations.
